Richard Stergulz is a California-based oil painter who has enjoyed a career as a professional artist for 33 years.  The style of his figurative paintings can best be described as realism with notes of Russian impressionism.  Also an educator, Richard teaches art classes, workshops, and demos in California.

His list of awards is extensive and his work is featured in several California art galleries.  His artistic influences include Norman Rockwell, John Singer Sargent, and Russian impressionists such as Nickolai Fechin.
