The holidays are the perfect time to make handmade gifts for your family or friends. But sometimes it’s hard to come up with new Christmas watercolor ideas to paint. We’re here to help! Follow along with Ambassador Clarice Gomes to learn how to paint two gorgeous watercolor projects. They can be used as greeting cards or framed as thoughtful gifts, bringing a personal touch to your holiday giving.

In this first tutorial, Clarice will guide you step-by-step to create your own winter landscape. It’s perfect for beginners or anyone looking for an easy, calming painting session that you can use as a holiday greeting card. Using a limited palette of Indigo and Cadmium Red, you'll learn how to build depth and create a serene snow-covered scene. With the wet-on-wet technique you’ll create a natural blend of the colors that will result in soft edges and gentle gradients that naturally evoke falling snow and misty distances.
